STOP MOTION: Research

Zero is a stop motion short film which I found to be very engaging and an interesting look into the different materials you can decorate armatures with to give your movie and unique and memorable look  that will keep people coming back to it.

The prototype armatures for Zero are very basic and made from wire. From these armatures, you cannot really tell what the end result will look like.

For this particular movie, the characters are molded from plasticine over their wire armature.

This video shows the many hours that are put into creating a short stop motion film. All together, this film was completed in two years with the help of many volunteers and a tremendous team effort.
