STOP MOTION: Building An Armature

Here is the plan for my armature, I have drawn the wiring and balls I will require to put it together.

Here are the bottom and top of my armature which I drilled and glued in the 3D workshop.

Close up of the tail.

Two pieces of wood cut out to be the cat feet of my character.

My armature mostly fully assembled.

The piece of wood which will attatch the head to the body.

I bought a pair of gloves from a charity shop and cut the fingers off to make it into a sweater.

With some help, I padded my armature with bandages and sewed a collar and the holes in the gloves up.

Padded armature with head, featuring ears made from millitput.

I cut up a section of my bath mat to make the tail of my character appear fluffy.

Close up of the tail, painting the markings on with indian ink and grey make up (using the resources I had available to me).

All the stripes have been painted on and his feet glued together.

Head attached.

Side view.

By cutting up a broken pair of jeans, I made his trousers.

Cutting up more of the bathmat allowed me to give him fluffy paws.
